  • Developers: Coordinated with developers to create assets for different screen resolutions and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Stakeholders: Participated in regular meetings to align visual design decisions with business goals and user needs.

Role

As a key member of the design team, my responsibilities included:

  • Visual Design: Created engaging and intuitive interfaces using Sketch, ensuring they were optimized for various screen resolutions.
  • User Testing: Participated in regular user testing sessions to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
  • Agile Workflow: Operated within an agile framework, allowing for iterative improvements and quick adaptations based on user feedback and stakeholder input.

Success Metrics

The success of this project was measured by:

  • User Engagement: Increased user engagement due to the more modern and intuitive interface.
  • User Feedback: Positive feedback from user testing sessions indicating improved user experience.
  • Consistency: Ensuring the new design was consistent with NatWest’s revitalized visual identity.

Outcome

Conclusion

Working on the redesign of NatWest’s online banking platform was an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with functionality. By prioritizing a mobile-first approach and closely collaborating with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders, we created a banking experience that was not only secure and robust but also visually engaging and user-friendly. The project was a testament to the power of agile methodologies and user-centric design in transforming traditional financial interfaces.
